Alanya Boat Tours: Which One to Choose
Thursday, August 6, 2026 · 9 minutes' reading
Dozens of boats leave Alanya harbour every morning and from the quay they all look the same. They are not. Picking the wrong one can mean spending your best holiday day fleeing loud music — or the opposite, on a silent deck with bored children.
Who the classic party boat is for
The big boats with animation teams, music and foam parties are the family-and-groups classic. Lunch and swimming stops are included and the day is packed. If you want peace, this is not your boat.
Relax trips and the catamaran
"Relax" trips skip the loudspeakers in favour of long swimming stops and sunbathing. The Green Canyon catamaran swaps the sea for a reservoir framed by pine forest — ideal if waves bother you.
Private charter
For celebrations, proposals or simply a day on your own schedule. Route and timing are set around you; pricing is per boat rather than per person and quoted on request.
Price and food differences
Standard trips include lunch (typically grilled chicken or meatballs, pasta, salad); drinks policy varies by boat — included or paid, always ask when booking. Most of the price difference comes from boat size and catering; the routes are largely the same.
The short answer for families
Daytime family boat plus an early return is the safest plan. With a baby, pick boats with generous shade and stay off the open deck at midday. Ages 0-2 ride free, ages 3-11 at a child rate.
